the drive itself has absolutely nothing to do with the size limitation. MS is using a signed security sector on their HDDs, which also contains the usable size. there is no way to modify that data. that's completely independant from the HDD manufacturer too.

I am aware of that, but I thought that technical documentation is always an help for a hacker, as maybe with that he could find hidden tricks on HDD access command,
I dont really know anything about xbox360 hacking, but I thought this confidential datas might help some hacker,  maybe programming a loader that only work on the BEVS or something else,

As I told, that's a little contribution, maybe it's a piece of shit, maybe it would help

( sorry for my poor english too )

If some of you want unfindable datas, maybe I could try to find it...

like I said, the hdd has absolutely nothing to do with the security measures MS integrated. MS doesn't even use the WD drives.
