boot from cd rom with slax disc in
watch the lines go across the screen and as the coding appaers turn on the drive
it should say spinning up disc, if you see this eject the drive the close it again


if that dosen't work
turn on the drive from boot up
boot from cd rom
when slax starts turn the drive off
when code starts turn the drive on

raid needs to be off

if you got a pc with raid installed and thats the os try another pc
