I just used the slax CD on my Hitachi 47 and you should see the disk load all the way until you see a login prompt. Login and use the password then do a poweroff command at the # prompt to exit gracefully. It will then shut down processes and eject the slax cd at the end.

I also have the double eject but to me more importantly I see the LED power blinking rapidly when the 360 goes to modeB for me.

Double click eject alone did not work for me and yes this caused my windows to hang and not restart.
