Need Help With 120 Gb Hdd Upgrade
« on: December 03, 2007, 04:20:00 PM »

Ok, so I got one from best buy, and it turns out its an RST, not LAT, so I can't use hddhackr on it. I tried using WinHex to manually copy sector 16 over, but that alone doesn't seem enough to get the drive seen by a 360, and I am interested in finding a way to format the drive now.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I just upgraded mine using an RST version, latest HDDHackr version 0.91 supports BOTH RST and LAT models of the WD BEVS 120 gigs Scorpio drive... You just need a good hddss.bin file and you need to patch HDDHackr for your SATA controller.

Over here, my question is, how do I migrate the data from my 20 gigs onto the new 120 gigs drive?
