Copy A 360 Hdd
« on: February 02, 2020, 09:34:00 PM »

If I used a friends 120 Gb hdd to make my western digital 80 Gb work as a 360 hdd, using No Modchip Hdd Replacement Tutorial (v0.1), would there be a conflict over LIVE if we used them at the same time?  I'm guessing that the unique id would show up and block one of us and/or get us into trouble, when they both show up on LIVE at the same time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also is a Western Digital WD800JD 80Gb SATA even compatible with the 360?

So far, I know only the BEVS series  is supported by hddhackr. It's possible the ss from the 120GB drive will let you use your drive as a 120GB drive that really only has 80, but I doubt it. It's more likely you'll have to use it as a 20GB drive.

As far as a conflict over LIVE, I doubt that's the case, otherwise every hard drive that was hacked out there would be having problems.

thx, but my question was would there be a problem if there were two of them

backing up or upgrading for personal use is one thing, but I want to know if having two identical drives is a problem

What, are you trying to log into the same profile on both?
