xplorer360 gives me an error when i try to backup an image of my hd. i think it happens when it gets to the compatability folder in part. 3. so now i just want to backup my saves and profiles, then format the drive.

well i said screw it and just backed up the content folder and formatted the drive, seems to work better. oh and XPORT 360 (Datel) shows the names of the saves unlike xplorer360.

Since you're using the Datel device also, maybe you can help me with my problem too. I have 2 Xbox 360's, and I wanted to copy the image of my original 360 HDD to my new one so I could have my profile and game saves on both systems. I formated my new HDD to get rid of all of my friends saves, then I copied the profile I backed up with the datel device onto the that same drive. When I put this hard drive on either Xbox the system says "no save device found" Is this hard drive bricked or what? Can it be saved?
