Hi been reading the forum and the instructions to upgrade the firmware for my toshiba-samsung drive is to map my sata as ide ports 3+4 "Abit NF7-S2GNnforce2 SATA (mapped as IDE ports 3+4) - Compatible" I have a abi nf7s-v2 mobo, but have not found a topic on this, can any help me to find this info? also if I map the sata to ide will that mean I don't have to do the hexedit on the sata chipset?
