there is no such thing is windows 2k on the xbox.

man   im just sitting here beating my head on the keyboard.

who ever told you there was is blowing some serious smoke up your rear.

they cant even hardly make windows 95 run thru the xbox dos.

and linux runs like crap so...

ok here it is in steps

1. forget it windows 2k will never run on it.
2. try linux and get board really quick as its complicated as hell.
3. pray that ReactOS gets full suport xbox support. a few hundred grand should speed the prcess up

4. you could instal wine or winex on linux, that is a win emulator but you get what you pay for with that .

Ah i see now, i was hoping to run it but now ive figured it will run like shit. 64 megs is the minimum and apps on pcs with min specs always run like shit but it is a great OS. Will win2k run under wine/VMWare or will it run like shit again? Otherwise i may just try WIN95, its fine for my internet and word processing needs since im going to give my parents the xbox and keep my normal pc all to myself :D

Any windows os will run like shit emulated from linux. its just not going to happen, until someone can get windows running buy itself or something , or maybe unless the xbox can be upgraded (that i doubt though)

Why do i have movies of win2k on an xbox on my computer?
I got it from www.xbox-linux.org.
But i think they have deleted the movies or somethin???

BULLSHIT!   all it is is linux running an emu or something,,,,  or some sort of VMWARE for linux    

2k has not been loaded to the xbox.  i do recall some rumor about it,,, but it was bogus..

now if someone wants to prove me wrong ill gladly take back that statement,,,

if it is true  then MS threatened them and they were  forced to abandon the project.
