Any help would be greatly apreciated,....Ill keep it short and simple,..Best that i can tell I can get mtkflash to read the firmware on my 360 drive...I tried the command (mtkflash r) only..And that seemed to work..But not acomplishing anything....(mtkflash r /m orig.bin) I get a error..error opening output file..And thats is...It freezes...Sorry forgot to mention im getting this error after i select the master ect.....

Any ideas?....Im open to try anything,..This is very frustrating..

You need to remove all ide cables from the motherboard and disconnect the power from all ide devices on your pc
connect your 360 sata cable to your motherboard (do not switch 360 on)
Boot your pc and press shift+F10  this should enable you to disable the bootrom.
reboot your pc from the floppy disc you have created with mtkflash on, now type the command:    mtkflash r /m orig.bin
switch on the xbox 360, wait 2/3 seconds
and then press enter on the pc keyboard
this should now backup your 360 firmware

Good Luck
