I managed to buy a new motherboard for about £30 (pretty good for a low end board though) with 2 SATA ports, was about the same price as a PCI SATA card! Try www.microdirect.co.uk

I went to pc world got a pci to sata card £19.99, its based on the sil-3112 chipset and I flashed my hitachi using the connection kit without any problems even though I read it shouldnt work. Can someone tell be if I will be able to flash the samsung drives based on this, as you have to use the bootdisk method so it wont load the windows drivers

Seriously?!? I thought the general concensus was that USB to SATA ports didn't work (apart from the one that Xecuter are working on).
