« on: May 21, 2006, 07:49:00 PM »

3 Questions

1. Is their a place you can put xexs on the hardrive and at least have them noticed by the dashboard?

2. How does the media flag system work on the harddrive, like would it be possible to hardcode responses into the firmware?

3. am i just a hitachi dreamer?

1. No.  No altered XEX can run because if they are not signed by MS, they don't run.

2.  You can not change the media flag because if you do, you break the signature.  The media flag is not the limitation that stops you from running code on the hard drive.  The MS 2048 bit key is.

3. Yes.
