Using A External Hd?

OK is there a way for people to plug a external drive on one of the 3 usb ports on the 360??  becasue on my normal xbox i have a external 200 gig and it works fine. i dont know becasue the 360 isnt modded but its just a question. thanks

no need to be so aggresive, although i do agree that he should actually do a search before posting something thats most probably been discussed before.. it would take him 30 seconds to find an answer.

Yes, yes you can. What you have to do is, get your USB cable and put it in the dvd tray, shut the dvd tray and then kick your Xbox 360. If you done it right, it'll popup saying 'Found new Xbox Harddrive... installing'. Hope this helps happy.gif

What do you mean by "change an xbox hdd"?

Are you trying to use an original Xbox HDD, or are you trying to actually use a larger HDD inplace of the current 360 HDD?  Or are you trying to change out the HDD in your original xbox for a larger one?

what i meant to ask was how to use the xbox1 hdd (reformatted) for the 360 (i kno only for music & pics)
