i Was thinking of Making a Probe thingy For The LiteOn Drive so i Wouldnt Have to Solder to Extract the DvdKey... This is a Rough Schematic of what it would look like... i am New to The LiteOn Drive so dont Laugh if its Totally Wrong  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Anyone Think it Would Work as it Would only Cost me £5 to Make which is a Big Difference compared to the Maximus Xtractor and the Xecuter CK3... BTW i Would use My Xbox to Power the Drive While Flashing / Reading.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

i think you have to join the tx wire for the probe to RX,i am unsure if that is what you show in the pic.tx off the board is transmit therefore it needs to go to RX  recieve.

 

i just solder in vcc and gnd on the pcb.

 

i have yet to make one solderless.it can be done with a spare power lead for the dvdrom,you splice the vcc wire with 5 volts on the lead.gnd is just an extra wire you attach where there are 2 missing on the lead connector where it enters the dvdrom.
