Bad Dedication String - Liteon 83850c

Hi guys,
I´m using the original Lo83info_32.exe but I´m getting everytime a bad Key (14 0f 0f...)
I´m using Freekey 1.1 and it is reporing a not proper Dedication String.
My PC has a VIA Motherboard and I can flash BENQ, Liteon (old) just perfect!

Any1 have some clue what I´m doing wrong?

Make sure you have the drive tray half open, And that you power it off and one while in this position before pushing enter.

Also you could have a old drive with a new sticker, whats the rest of the file look like in hex editor.

You need the "In dedication" string.

Sadly, mp3boy has reported no luck for dumping on his Nforce setup, but VIA works fine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

lol....im struggling with the VIA chipset....tomorrow i'll try the nforce chipset :-)

I have a VIA chipset, and for the life of me I couldn't get it to work under Windows.

I finally got it to work (on the 1st try) using Dosflash 16 bit, give that a go...

Get it to work on windows after some tries (10 times)

Now I have one more problem: XtractorReade v2.9 is freezing when I click "Get the Key and files"
Is there another way to get the files I need to flash my drive? (Liteon v2)

I tried a hundred times with both lo83info, and lo83info_32 no luck with the nforce.

Jungleflasher extracted it perfectly, however with create 83 extract in JF 1.65

Sure. Once you've got the bin file, run it through freekey 1.1 with the /OF parameter.
This should result in the same bin file but now with added hex key. Make sure the name ends in .bin.key

Load JF 1.65 and use the get 83 .key button to load the .bin.key file. It normally should create a dummy.bin and load it. From that point on, you can do with you want with it.
