Well, we just want to know that Xbotwz is legit.

Patience is the key here, our testers (25 from this site, 10 from another site, 10 from another and 5 from another) will be trying the toolkit very soon followed by the full release, it really won't be very long at all  biggrin.gif

Gotta see it to believe it sorry. I find it weird that you cannot even pm carranzafp with the decrypted result of his code. Surely it cant be too hard for you right?

I personally wouldn't trust anyone that doesn't have a well known name then i'd contact them or wait for them to contact me, their are  a lot of trusted people in this scene and a lot of people who are just out for themselves.

so just a word to the wise be careful and watch your back

do i doubt it? NO their are a shit load of people that are capable of doing this it's just getting the right group together and building a trust within that group so they are not changing their names every 3 months because someone gets pissed off at another member.

good luck to xbotwiz and all the others perfroming this task

As I PM'd XbotWiz, I have 2 modded xbox's, 1 new with the new drive (unmodded, obviously).  Also have a bricked (benq) and another refurb on the way.  I'm sure I can be a guinea pig of sorts for anyone who could use my assistance.

You just joined why would anybody let you test the stuff?  Also the thing that gets me about xbotwiz is that he just joined today, so I would like to believe him but I am having a hard time doing so. Who on this site are you allowing to test?

could be a ploy to just go and mess up thousands of pounds worth of xbox360s.

you dump the drive,it runs the dump,it generates a random key.you flash to your 360 and thats the 360 bricked.you then have to send the dump to foundmy then they get back saying no key present as it erased part of the dump.

Hence the reason why any clever person would spoof to another drive before erasing their Liteon wink.gif

Anyone with an ounce of common sense wouldnt erase their only "hard" copy of the f/w, from the drive itself prior to testing the key.

Well, dump using this toolset and Foundmy's. Worse comes to worse is that you have to send your foundmy dump to get the key

This is why the testers we have invited should ideally have a spare drive to try, you shouldn't use your only drive if you are in the test group, not saying anything will go wrong as NONE of our drives have failed but it is common sense!

And yes, you could do this as a backup just incase although i'll say again, not one drive we have tested this on has gone wrong, it's all very promising so far!

Just get of XbotWiz's back. Just because he joined today for this special cause, doesn't mean he's a regular since 2003, just not with this account.

Second, there's nothing to loose. What the *** are you bickering about ? I'm one of the 25 and will get the tools to test it on my own modding computer, not connected to the 'net or anything. Of course I'll be using a few of my spares to test, guys who'd consider using their one and only drive in a beta-test should be institutionalized..

And before anyone starts screaming about wrong drive info in the vault, that's bound to happen since you're spoofing. And so what, big deal, won't be playing on live with this box anyway.

What you guys are doing is called 'Spijkers op laag water zoeken' in Dutch. Quit moaning, results of the beta-test will be out soon.

XbotWiz's, as said in PM... can't wait wink.gif

p.s. Geremia/Carranzafp : how long were you thinking of giving THX/Foundmy the chance of doing the right thing before releasing the tools you made ?
