Iv run through all the easy combos.

All the way up to

fff...

In caps and not in caps.
Also tryed all the hex lines in the original post.

Next steep would be running it through my brute forcer. Using the same rules as normal keys. More then 4 digest the same in a row and its probably invalid. That would cut the time down to 6.3 days with my gfx card at 100%

But then whos to say they stuck to that rule and if they are even using hex only.

I've just received a drive key generated with FreeKey, and it works!

I'm not saying who has found the FreeKey password, and neither do I know what the password is. All I can confirm is that FreeKey works for 83850c drives.

Just a warning, use the LO83 that was very first posted to get your file from the drive, the link for the original lo83 is

Damb beaten to the punch.
Yep thats the correct password, I just got it. And yup I can confirm that it decrypts the keys.
Will need to get some people with 83850c drives to bring them over and test flashing it to my spare 83850c I got off ebay because some idiot erased it lol.

ran freekey and flashed a 74850 with 83850 firmware and can confirm the key works. thanks all involved
