Xbox 360 Flashing Question (starting Pc Up From Usb) Help!
« on: July 24, 2009, 09:50:00 PM »

I have a toshiba-samsung TS-H943 F/W ms25

After I click prepare destination on the iPrep or Xtreme Boot Maker and done all of the other settings, I shut off the PC and go to the boot menu and select the USB. It then comes up as a blinking underline button. If I can get past this part I'm home free. What now?

Thanks!

hp makes a pretty nice little program that does it for u. search like "hp dos usb key" or something along those lines to find it. if you need the dos files search for freedos

EDIT: look here http://www.bay-wolf.com/usbmemstick.htm

and if u want to flash from the usb key (dos) rather than windows, i would suggest dosflash over iprep

hmm.. I've extracted the files and downloaded the USB Disc Storage Format Tool and when I open the application it is as if all of the options and settings are locked up. In the tutorial it mentions "NOTE: Make sure that the lock/unlock switch (if present) is set to the unlock position." But theres no switch. I'm not quite sure what this means. This may be a simple thing to overcome.
