How do you know which is which between Rx and Tx? Hyperterminal can't tell you that, right?

My CA-42....

Green = Ground (Tested continuity with multimeter, the outer casing on a USB connector is ground right?)
Yellow = Tx
White = Rx
Seems the colours aren't standard with these cables, but I'd try the white one.

Yeah I read that others used the white one, but when I took apart the USB it showed the green wire connecting to rx, white to tx, and blue to gnd. It actually has it written on the board in there... I got the CA-42 from the ebay link that ImRickJames said he got his.

So if its supposed to be the rx then I'm doing it right. What else could it be thats causing problems?
