umm yeah windows 7 is a beta so its expected not to work.
Also its recommended to have XP.

Hi Yes it does work with windows 7. Just go to google type in the dll that is missing then there should be a site called something begging with a they will have a library files pack just install and then backup creator will work.

think my problems ,ay lie with 64bit, now getting 32 bit windows 7 downloading

Im running Windows 7 x64 and i can run XBC fine. What build are you running? I have had 7100, 7201, and just upgraded to 7600.
