How to UnBrick Hitachi-Lg picture guide. (Willem PCB 3.0)
Follow the pictures and unbick your hitachi-lg drives.
You need to have some soldering skills.

Switch settings for both chips SST39SF020A and SST39VF020 are same.
You only need to change the Device when you change the chip.
Original or ix1.51 Firmware must be Encrypted before programming.

Hitachi-LG 26 - 59 has a SST39SF020A flash chip.
Hitachi-LG 78/79 has a SST39VF020 flash chip.

I have written the guide in finish language.

I think when you have the equipment you will get it.
Willem is very easy to use.

This forum takes only .gif files and has limits for picture posting... So slide show for now.

I just remembered that there is English guide for this.
Google Textbook.2008.pdf and go to page 170.

TextBook is using heat gun for desordering the flash chip.
I am using smaller gashotair tool. (don’t know the English word for the tool)

TextBook´s Willem programmer is PCB 5.0 mine is PCB 3.0.
Both programmers will du the trick.
