http://foundmy.com/oscom/product_info.php?products_id=340  <--- This is how you extract the Key from the new LiteOn Drive.  If they can do it so can we.  I think it will only be a matter of days now.  O yeah i sent my console in last week to texas and just got it back, it had a liteon but with the older firmware.  I think i just got lucky.  Just sent another one in 3 days ago on friday and am waiting, ill probably get it today or tomorrow at the latest.  For some reason they have been sending me 2nd day Air shipping boxes smile.gif  no complaints from me though.

They obviously found it but they don't want to release it due to legal issues.

what legal issues ?, c4evas was realeasing modified firmwares since 2006, and  there are a lot of programs for domping/flashing out there like maximus toolbox, jungleflasher, etc... wahts the diference in this metod to do it "more ilegal"?

I wonder if its a method of tracking/collecting details of people who are getting involved with this service.

beware of foundmy.com... i found this in the EURASIA forum posted by farmboy_nick,  the post says the following "a free method would be great because last time (the only time) i tried to buy from foundmy the assholes ripped me off and they never reply to my emails ... so beware when dealing with them, also a web search at the time showed that only 20% of customers receive anything they pay"

This thread alone has plenty of bad examples of doing business with them.

I am one of them... I had to do a credit card reversal after they charged me 2 times for the same thing and then never sent it at all... It took months to get the money back and they didnt reply to ANY of my emails, not 1!!!

I would definitely think twice before using them...

this is part of the info on the txt that came with the new ixtreme released by c4evas/team hyperx:

"At the moment the only way to get your key data is through the foundmy.com method. At this time we have no alternative solution. Props to foundmy for cracking the key encryption and providing a solution. Team HyperX will keep working to find a alternative solution!"

mi question is why a serious group and with so hi reputation like C4evas/hyperx, recomend and say "props" to a site with so bad reputation and scams????

Pretty sure he put the package together.

Similar tutorial here, but shows you where to get most of the stuff.  Since I don't want to host the firmware. :>
