I do tons of premods in Maryland, so I'm constantly "buying" new boxes.

I've never gotten any of the new drives.

The newest drive I've gotten is the A0A2, and some of which act like a A0A1.

I've gotten the new Arcades with 512MB internal. Some of which have the red wire cirle resistor things. Some have the copper ones.

But I haven't seen a new lite-on yet.

All the boxes are dated May or June.

Its MS that dictates the release, not us smile.gif We will likely be finished with the project prior to the percentage of 83850c saturation needed for public release. Which probably wont be for atleast another month.

I am suprised nobody has sugested this yet but could everyone who buys a new 360, enter their info on the 360 drives list so we can track the spread of these beasties.

http://www.360drives.com/

I not come accross one myself. I had one back from repair in germany about a month ago it was an a0a2 but no probs fw wise.

Yesterday a legal thing happened!
A customer bought one xbo360 new and came with new drive 83850C, it came back until the store and changed for a model of 60 GB and came back the difference of the price and later he unlocked!
The model of 60 GB had drive old!
Bad luck of who to buy arcade that already it was opened!
