I Have An Idea But It Seams To Easy

Ok i dont know a lot about computers or any thing but if i take the hd out of my xbox and put it into a computer wouldnt i be able to install windows onto my xbox hd and put it into the xbox and then have my xbox play xbox games and be a computer at the same time?  I also need to know if installing windows reformats the hd to read it or if it alters it in any way to NOT play my xbox games please please please reply

No because windows would want to reformat your hdd, as it can't understand fatx (xbox hdd format), so then putting it back in your xbox, the xbox wouldn't understand windows file format

 super newbie, dont you read (no offense, even thoug offense is meant)

its a given that an xbox cant understand a windows partion and has Anti against it!

or else it would have been done !Maybe if you reformat the hard drive then have a modchip and make a bios that loads windows partition, a type of cromwell.

But thats souinds to easy and this topic has beenm picked over, i do know that running windows is possible, just hard and you have linux, why run windows? Because Linux is hard like a motherfucker and can be sometimes hard to learn and windows is more familiar to the most of us.

But linux is ok for me, i just prefer windows.

ok.........then can you tell me if there is any solderless mod chip that will let me do what ever i need to to be able to copy games the the hd? and plz list everything i would need and if you know the cost thatd b helpfull

Wouldn't it be possible (although difficult) to re-flash a normal computer's BIOS to emulate fatx partition table as a fat32 partition? You could then install windows onto it without a problem from a cd, and put the new hard drive into a modded xbox.

(Forgive me if this question has already been answered, but I'm writing from a HS computer and I only have about 2 minutes, so I don't have time to check.)

Just a thought...
