It's funny...the newer 78 and 79 drives have never given me a bit of trouble... But these older 47 & 59 drives have just been eating my lunch!
The drive was put into Mode B using Slax 2.1, then booted into XP.
The drive was detected just fine by Windows, and Jungle Flasher didn't seem to have any problems.
Following the official Jungle Flasher step-by-step, the drive was Dumped, Flashed to iXtreme, Key Flashed, and Spoofed to replace a BenQ that's still waiting on a new laser...
Everything seemed to go flawlessly.
Had to cycle the 360 twice to get it out of Mode B.
After booting the 360, though, all I get is "To Play This Disc..." on both Originals and Backups.
I'm kind of beating my head against a wall with these older Hitachi's (the last 47 I flashed still played originals, but refused to read backups...and I sort of gave up on it after cleaning and adjusting the laser...at least it still worked for originals, right?)
Can anyone shed a little light on what the problem might be with this 59?
The JF log is below...I apologize for the length.
