Apologies for starting a new thread but it turns out I'm actually attempting to flash a BenQ drive and not a Lite-On as I had expected...


I've got everything connected up, the drive is showing up in JungleFlasher. I've done the half tray trick, when I click on the Intro/Device ID button, it returns status 0x51, it has sometimes returned 0x80 but not 0x73 which is what I want. Am I doing something wrong?

benQ unlock on a stock drive isn't supposed to work right last time i remember.

Aside from that, just READ jungleflasher.pdf and use the search function(google version).

lol im having the same problem but the benq unlock still gives me the same error as dave

no prob with sammy, hitachi or lite on drives - BENQ is a mystery

followed everything in the tuts
