for burning the games use xbox backup creator, but change the burn engine to imgburn (download that if you dont have it). Make sure you burn games at the slowest speed to reduce the chance of a coaster. I use verbatim media, but have also used ritek and tdk disks. maybe ive just been lucky, or i have a magic dvd burner or something, but ive only ever had 1 problem burning/reading based on media (with the ritek disks)
