Ok here's the story. I was using jungle flasher 1.6. I was able to copy my original firmware, which I still have. But when I was starting to write the new firmware to the drive my computer froze up on me and shut down. Now my drive doesn't work.

So my question, Is there a way for me to flash my drive with the original firmware or the spoofed firmware. A program or hardware item I could use. I already have iprep and many dos usb set-ups just about anything xbins had to offer. I just don't know where to begin, and I don't want to play trial and error for the next month. Any help would be welcome.

Just choose the port you know the drive is and send an intro ...the drive will be recogniez...   the drive is there trust me the program recognizes it ...it just that it doesnt show up in the list..

If intro fails....  send a erase(even liteon erase works)  command... after that do a intro...  and the chip will appear in status 72/73 ready for whatever firmware you want to write ...

This method is either thru jungleflasher or dosflash(iprep)   either way works wink.gif       samsung, benq, liteon are unbrickable thru the writing process wink.gif     cheers

Thank you for your advice I was able to un-brick the drive using dosflash16. I think I'll just write to the drive that way from now on.

Amin to that... dosflash is a fail safe device ... it always works...  but i`m not that confortable with the spoofing...   so i`m still hanging on to jungleflasher ...no problems so far..
