Topic: Ms28 Trouble!? (Read 32 times)

I have modded ms25, hitachi, benq with no problems so i understand alot. But i tried a ms28 with a via 6421 and it read the firmware but when i went to flash the hacked firmware it flashed it then it has a red light on the bottom right. and im using xtreme33 btw. anyone know how to fix? thanks

I used the latest firmware too but i flashed it with a floppf disc that was formatted with samread for x33.

use iprep006 thats what i prefer to use u can format a floppy make sure your via drivers are installed and you pick ixtreme master
update ixdef file to the latest
commands are dSam and fSam

Thats cause you have to update the definitions.

You have to update firmtool to 1.31 as well, I think as well as ixdef.

if you are running xp net framework 2.0 only as i know personally if you have higher iprep doesnt work properly
make sure you have this only uninstall iprep then reinstall and update ixdef file again
i personally havent updated firmtool aqnd havent had any problems but your pref
if you do make sure you rename it exactly as you see the orig
u do know with the ixdef file you only need to copy this into the folder in program files/iprep
and the firmtool copy and replace this on your bootable floppy or usb to replace old

I put sp2 on my comp and still same error. Is there a different way then iprep or any other suggestions on this? and yes i have followed it all with the iprep,

r u sure this ms28 doesnt have spoofed firmware
ie ms28 spoofed as say hitachi or benq
just to check open the firmware that was read in iprep open in Jungle flasher in the source to check its not spoofed

Im positive because i tried my ben q firmware and my other samsung with iprep and same error/
