HI i m italian so my english could not be the best one.I ve dumped many keys from liteon drives,but today i had some problems...
I use dvdkey under dos to dump the key,today i ve got only the inquiry and the identity.bin,the key.bin give me the error sega 54.Searching the internet i ve found that if you test rx and tx point to ground with a tester,you should get no connectivity in every two point, but in mine i get connectivity on rx and no connectivity in tx.The only problem that i had flashing the drive it s that maybe the first time i ve connected the drive power cable in the wrong way.
Is there a solution to retrive my drive key?
What components i have to test on the drive board?
If could be helpfull,if i connect the drive in the xbox like original,everything seems to work but the drive doesn t load games,the disc spin at the maximum speed

But you have the key.bin, so you have the key, you just don't have the dummy. If the key is correct you can still recover the xbox, maybe not the drive as you pluged the power in upside down. check the key.bin fole to see if it has a uniquen key in it. You can download a program to create the dummy.bin I beleive.

maybe you did not understand my message,because is not so clear. I can dump the identity and the inquire.bin but not the key.bin. When dvdkey try to extract the key i get error sega 54. Any idea?
