haha dont be. the great thing about these new drives, as long as you have the key your dvd drive can be recovered. the easiest way to fix your drive is in dos. if you can boot to dos, then you can fix it.

what youll need:
a way to boot into dos with these files:
dosflash
liteon eras.exe
your hacced firmware

1. boot to dos
2. run liteon eras until you get status 0x72
3. run dosflash
4. select your xbox 360 drive
5. select the erase funtion
6. run dos flash
7. select your xbox 360 drive
8. select the write function
9. type in your firmware
