no it wont - you have to put the drive in Vendor mode.

The repack IS on xbins as of NOW.  As noted though, it still doesn't have the firmware version listed when you pull it up in JF.  That being said, I'm going to wait until the dust settles with all of this before I do anything.  1.51 does everything I need it to and I already have a Kreon drive....so I'm good to go.

Flashed my lite on with the orign 1.6 then bootet everything up and noticed it wouldent play backups. Did my other drives and now when I was gone flash my lite on again with repack its dead. It dosent react to open tray. It boots up giving E64 and When I got it into vendor mode it shows 0x0 Unknown type

Any idees?

I have the keys so its no worry about that. Its just I dont want to lose my lite-on drive and dont have a left over drive laying around right now.

Ditto that! but quick ? i to have a kreon drive and also a back up drive sammy ms28... i have a liteon drive flashed with ix1.51. i was thinking about flashing my sammy with 1.6 and just selling it... so my ? is do i have to just flash it with ix1.6 or do i need to spoof it with all my info with my liteon..... i basically just wanna sell it to a friend for a dedicated back up maker...... any info would be great...thanks in advance!

Thanks Team HyperX, running 1.6 on my benq now. Flashed it with jungleflasher with no problems.

do a liteon erase ...power cycle the drive...then write the new firwmare with the corect key     its usualy a bad flash..

Something wrong with the repack. It will not load in iPrep the original 1.6 will.
