you have to dump your key and files to flash a liteon
you do need a conn kit and probe to dump files or you can make one yourself
you cannot flash a liteon without dumping files first
you still need to hook up via comm/serial port or usb port to dump files
try jungleflasher and read the tutorial

If you flash your Liteon without dumping the files then all you will have accomplished it BRICKING your console.

So unless you want to go buy a new console for some reason I would suggest you do more research and read everything on the subject of flashing a Liteon before you even think about opening your console. When you are done reading everything do it a few more times until you know 100% of what you are doing.

Any sata will work dont need that card with jf now need to dump key ect before flash dont do without or you will have meda center jf esy to use read guide before do anything and backup fles off drive at least 3 times better safe then sorry you need drive half open ,ck3 onboard sata and jungle flasher takes  like 3 minutes to   flash drive error probaly beacuse you have drive shut .i used ich9 for my liteon and so intel obv works with them
you need some form of kit hommade or bought to dump key how would you propose to do the r707 without it

If you don't dump the files how do you expect to get the drive key?

Well it seems you decided to brake your console anyway. mtk vendor intro failed means you did not power cycle the drive before you tried to flash it. But unfortunately that also means you probably already erased your drive.

It is one thing to feel bad for someone that comes in here after braking their console and feel sorry for them. It is something entirely different if you come here and know what you was going to do will brake your console and you go ahead and do it anyway.

thats that bricked then if you flashed witout fist getting key in maner which i just tol you then it is fucked beyond repair unless you want to ms to fix which they probaly wont be able to do why on earth after people told you not to flash without gtting keys would you do it anyways ,

so my question is, what happens if I didn't dump the files and i went straight to flashing it? it said it erased the drive... am i stuck with a bricked drive?

ok question... if it said it "erased" the drive, does that mean i can't get the keys? i'll try seeing if it sees it in windows but i think in my bios it wont detect it unless i have SATA/ATA auto detect on, and if that's on my OS won't boot... it still detects the drive in the BIOS... the xbox is able to close and open the tray, but it doesn't read normal xbox games.... so does that mean it's bricked? or maybe there's still a chance at extracting the keys...

the bottom line is, i need the connectivity kit in order to get the keys right? there's no other way??

how are you gona play games off hard drive without working dvd drive my friend everyone here would like to be able to play games off hard drive without game that would encourage piracy which microsoft dont much care for

the dashboard would work regardless that is stored in onboard flash on main board
if you can not play any games and dont have the key and can not get the key via the medium which i said or any other then sir that drive is a paper weight or a expensive dvd drive

you could send back to microsoft ask them to repair if they can at cost to yourself beacuse you have lost your
warranty or someone may be able to extract key from drive via tsop which i doubt as it will most probaly be blank

we all make mistakes here but most of us would take the time to read the advice offered before hand
and not just jump in willy fn nilly ..

It would certainly appear so. Now before doing anything else get yourself a connectivity kit and learn to use Jungle Flasher.

yes if it plays games your still in luck you should be able to get the keys off it now invest in a ck3 or maximus
as you will need something ike that to connect a probe

,whos being hostile im trying to help a guy not make what is a very easy mistake to make if the drive wotn play games it is as i put fucked there is not a simpler word to describe really but it turns out it still works so no harm done i think also that jungle guide misses out a bit about the drive needeing to be half open
im english and swear alot and i cant spell or type worth a shit but at no point online would i ever try to be hostile  ,and my keyboard sucks
