Hi peeps.
Basically I have been reading quite a few tutorials and thought I would give it a go at flashing my Samsung MS25

I will just post what I did so hopefully you can tell me if its knackered or how to repair it!

I downloaded the xtreme 1.5 samsung version (it was 256kb)
Ran dosflash.exe and created a backup
Extracted key from backup in firmware tools and put it in the modded firmware key box and saved it
Ran dosflash and flashed the xtrem bin file
Everything seemed to go ok until I switched xbox on and got E66

I ran dosflash later and it wouldnt let me access the drive and said something about retry etc?
I am using my onboard sata but have ordered the via pci one if that makes a diff?

Please help!

You needed to spoof it as iXtreme is based on MS28 f/w

Now, you are experiencing firmguard (ms25's dont have it, you now have an ms28 effectively)

You can try Half Open Tray to disable firmguard if its 1.5/1.51 flashed.

Sorry if I appear a little thick its just I am new to this.
Do i try the tray half open in dosflash? if so should I try and flash my original flash onto it?

Which program shouldI have spoofed it in?Like iprep?

How did you inject your key in to iXtreme?

Ive never done half open tray in dos, but, yes, before sending MTK Intro in DosFlash have the tray half open, then, send intro.

I did it in 360 firmware tools

is the MTK intro when it brings up the list?

Mtk Intro is where it asks you to resend, half it half open to start with, It might not ask then (like it did before)

You should use FirmTool, JungleFlasher, or if using Toolbox....

Tools ----> Spoof Firmware---> select MS25 fromt he list, flash this file back using Dosflash.

Just want to be clear, should I load up the xtrem.bin (that i flashed before) in firmware tools to spoof?
