When I start up I get the errors after I have just installed a new SATA DVD drive.
It says unable to install drivers press TAB for BIOS/extra info
I push TAB
In the corner in red I get this message:
NOTICE: the number of discs is not adequate to create a RAID!!!

and I cannot select anything, only exit

If it is something to do with My SATA port on my motherboard Is there a way I can fix it?

will I loose any data doing a "hard restart"?
and what does it do exactly?

basicly it erases the pc bios.
