wulfie
Dude get a clue 2 different people have told u the same info about drive speeds
and now a third, think mcfly, think. It's basic 101 xbox hackery stuff here pal
Anywayz reading up on the specs for 1.6 it seems to be a non essential update to 1.51 I mean games'll still boot from 1.51 it'll seem and whats this still about one off iso booting new one on me
Whoa, calm down there DizzyC64...
If burning at faster speeds works for wulfie, then let him be. 2.4x is not the standard, it's only 'imposed' on the noobs to prevent human error when they are modding for the first time. (i.e. burning at 8x with a shitty burner)
I burn my backups anywhere between 2.4x and 8x depending on the overall load on my computer, media quality, etc. (using Pioneer DVR-216 drives) I burn my Verbatim discs at 6x with no problems, and I have all 4 major 360 DVD-ROM drives at my home that I use with my 6x burned discs. (Samsung, Hitachi, BenQ, Lite-On)
In short, if you are unsure of your PC's reliability use 2.4x. If your PC is new enough with reliable burners you can burn at much high speeds though.
So wulfie isn't technically wrong.
