I've got the stuff here I need to flash. I'm just really worried that i'm going to kill a £250 consol. I've read up everything about it but I really don't want to try incase something goes wrong....

Bricked two Samsungs a couple weeks ago while flashing them before I realized 1.6 was coming out. Fixed them up in about 2 minutes though and life's good.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I've been holding on to these boxes for weeks waiting to flash them and my clients are getting antsy. >_<

Yer that seams to be a common problem around here these days. People assume its as easy as the JF tutorial portrays it to be.

Ive a couple of machines of my own to flash, and a load of mates machines to possibly do.

Suffice to say that Im not fussed about waiting for the problems to be worked out, I also intend on waiting till Ive seen others with more disposable incomes give feedback on any problems they had during or after installation before I even try it.

Good luck guys, get the kinks worked out for the benefit of everyone, and pay no attention to the whiners rushing you smile.gif

this is a bad joke.. these guys have had weeks to test their f*cking code to see if it works.

don't f*cking advertise that it will be out on a specific day and then do a `no show'

it was over 3 weeks ago that I read that the 1.6 firmware was done and it was testing
out as expected...

what's worse is no one from the coders that write these firmwares, can ever give
worthy updates.

it's probably been canceled due to one of the coders being an engineer at M$'s 360
department and someone within the M$ has figured who the traitor is....

How about you learn some respect? Being a developer and a coder(not firmware) I know things don't always go as planned. It's c4eva's research, he doesn't need to release it at all. You're lucky he is, especially when he has people like you. It's been stated alot of money has been spent on this.

How about instead of complaining about other people you get off your bottom and try doing something yourself? Oh wait.. That probably wouldn't get anywhere.

Which is exactly why you should respect what is being done for you guys when it doesn't need to be done whatsoever.

Was trying out Jungleflasher on the Samsungs, used it on a Benq before and had no problems. Shit happened and they got bricked. Went back to iprep and have had no problems since. Modded a bunch of boxes before and never bricked one and then JF just owned me. That's what I get for changing flashing methods lol.  rolleyes.gif

What. How do you intend to burn iXtreme 1.6. You will need to flash the FW onto your particular drive. Read the jungle flasher tutorial for PC requirements when 1.6 is released. Shant be too much longer.
