We will be releasing the next version of connectivity kit very soon.

The new version of the connectivity kit has a power on / off switch.

The PCB is bigger and with wider traces.

We also added 5 test points on the PCB, they are TP1, TP2 (RX and TX if you solder R708 and R707), GND, 5V and 3.3V.

the new kit comes with dvd power cable. (probably as options)

also, USB version of the liteon key extractor will be released as well.

Nice one guys (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) That was the only ever issue I had with my DIYGadget connectivity kit was the having to disconnect the molex to drop the power. Keep up the great work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

i am currently using the v2 model... to overcome the power switch issue i bought a 2 pole switch at radioshack and i spliced it into a molex y cable. problem solved.

diygadget? They're legit...I ordered 3 kits from them and a few friends have ordered some as well. They're located in canada, so it takes a little longer for shipping, but it's pretty good prices (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
