Hey All.  Strange issue I seem to have and am wondering if others have seen this.  I have flashed a lot of drives so there is no noob issue here.  There seems to be some strange thing going on when upgrading Liteon's from 1.5 to 1.51.

Tray half open for Vendor.  When power is to the drive and Jungle flasher is started it takes minutes for JF to finally open.  While it is trying to open the pc arrow cursor has the disc image with it.

When JF finally opens after minutes every command that you choose takes minutes to initiate and finish. When you choose a command ..ie. "Load Source Firmware" the hour glass appears and hangs for a few minutes.  Finally it will then open u browser to find source.  Same thing happens during all "Erase" "Write" commands.  Click "Liteon-Erase"...hour glass appears and minutes later the command goes to drive and erases.....etc..etc with write/verify.

This only occurs when a already flashed 1.5 Liteon is hooked up......ALL other drives.....NO Problem.  This setup has flashed early Hitachi's, 78/79 Hitachi's, Benq's etcno issues.

On the last Liteon upgrade the pc ran an AutoPlay twice with the drive attached.  Obviously no disc in drive.

What version of jungleflasher are you using? If you're using the 1.55 go back to 1.51, if you're using 1.51 upgrade to 1.55.

sounds like driver clashing
make sure portio drivers installed and your via card disabled if you have one
if your runnung xp, net framework 2 installed
