Does your pc recognize the drive when your in dos?Just try reflashing the drive with the right firmware 'ix151-benq.bin'.It should automaticly erase the drive before flashing.

I've heard that reflashing the original firmware onto the drive might work is this true? If so whats the best way to do this?

Thanks

Ive flashed two benq's without restoring to original firmware and i heard no complaints from my friends. The drive gets erased before flashing so i think restoring the drive would be useless. Make sure you use the latest jungleflasher http://www.xbox-scen...VElkWlEoHUE.php and if it keeps freezing just reflash in dos.

Thanks, I've tried deleting and reloading the firmware in dos using iprep and dosflash but writing bank 0 freezes everytime even using the original bin file. Using jungleflasher freezes when using the via card in windows even when removing the viamsys driver file and using portio
