Trouble Getting Jf To See My Benq Vad6038 Stock
« on: March 22, 2009, 09:24:00 AM »

im using a VIA 3249 SATA card with a Phillips & BENQ VAD6038 stock.  I have it plugged into port 1 which is port 2450  i click on the intor /device ID and I get the following.

JungleFlasher 0.1.51 Beta
Session Started Sun Mar 22 09:31:51 2009

This is a 32 bit process running on 2 x 32 bit CPUs
Found 4 I/O Ports.
Found 2 Com Ports.
Found 3 windows drives.
Found 0 CD/DVD drives.

Sending Vendor Intro to port 0x2450
Status 0xD1

I made a bootable usb disk and copied the ixteme1.5.1 file for the benq drive and the latest dosflash utility and i was able to read my drive and save the original bin and wrote the 1.5.1 firmware.  It all completed successful but I was not able to read my backup games.

Please help!

I will.  I did not want to waste anyone's time.  I will be posting a step by step instruction on how to flash a benQ
