ive just brought a new desktop packardbell IMEDIA X2415 its using nvidia nforce 4 SATA but i couldnt get it to work

so i looked in my bios and noticed its on AHCI so switched to sata rebooted then noticed in device manager the nvidia driver was now gone replaced with a microsoft driver

the pc just came with a backup image i guess it doesnt contain all the drivers needed

i also tried raid and just got a blue screen "bsod" so i also guess the image hasnt got raid drivers

i've looked all over for a way to fix this but all i can find is info on how to add drivers while doing a vista install

i dont have a vista disk the pc just has a backup partition

can anyone help
