Well LiarInGlass you might be pissed that we jacked your thread, but i just got my drive working perfectly.
Used the dummy fixer and inserted the serials off of the OPT and PCB.
Made a new Dummy file. Spoofed it and flashed it following the tutorial and everything worked.

i had a problem after i erased the flash.
I erased it and then it didnt come up with a correct flash chip properties.
Drive returned 0x72 but was unable to write new FW. I reset the drive and checked it again and it started working.

many thanks...wrote flash through dos turned off xbox360 and the drive closed

just gotta check games now...many thanks..ps.is there a way to check if the write went ok

Hi, a question related to Liteon and 1.51, this one reads a couple new serials from the firmware, but AFAIK we erased the firmware when installing 1.5, does that means we won't get that serial? And I bet that means we may be vulnerable to bans?
