guys, if u have the key, the only thing to do is connect to sata port, erase and flash with new ixtreme hehehe

it's no problem to use dosflash or whatever to re-get your drive key off a modded drive, right?

I lost the backup files

I don't believe so. I believe you just have to erase, and then flash the new firmware after you've included the Inquiry, Key, and Identify have been inserted if you have a Lite-On.

I could be wrong though.

Yeah, I'm assuming you can just reget the key the normal way as you usually do. There should be no problem in that.

In this thread on post #22 someone said "You could extract the video from an older game, inject it into MLB using abgx" does anyone know if this is possible for all of use who don't use xbox live? Has any1 tried it? Maybe this is a workaround?

if you dont use live you can flash with a non stealth fw and boot it that way. if you have a liteon drive i would say it wont hurt to try it since you dont use live.

hey guys, new to the forum.but HAWX has a new format...so i needed some help lol
i have a samsung ms25 drive.is the 1.6 only for hitachi or lite on? not really sure haven't upgraded firmware since ix1.4

Spend some time reading. It doesn't hurt.

1.6 is not out. HAWX and MLB have new video sectors, so it comes up as non-stealthed. They are working on a fix.

Did you even read the first page?

I did read, thank you.  I understand it won't work and how it works.  I was nicely asking is the ix1.6 going to be for every drive, erasing and reflashing with the new fw, and if so, will older games1.4 still work?

I have already got two emails from customers asking me about updating them yet this is not even front page news on xbox scene yet. I thought they were making it up untill i took a look in the forum and found this thread. So come on this is big news! Front page it plz xbox scene guys!
