I finally got my xbox to turn on after it being flash..And it started smoking

opened it up and one of the cords for the dvd drive was unplugged...

Before this I had to pop it open using a screwdriver so now the DVD drive is stuck off of the hedges or w/e so it wont close open properly can someone help me out?
(the dvd drive.. one of my games was in there and I thought the system was fried)

well anyways the guy who modded my xbox didn't plug the DVD drive in all the way.. only 1 cord was in
So I turned it on and it smoked
opened it up and found a big burned spot on the DVD drive

Now is it possible to replace my DVD drive and I have to flash the drive somehow right?

Wait.. smoke? That really isnt good. What do you mean about the connection? Was one of the pins pulled out (some do this for manual eject) and not put back in? Sounds like the guy who flashed it was a proper bodge job.

It depends what is damaged. Have you gone to the persons house to complain?

If its only the drive thats damaged you could get a replacement if you have the dummy.bin or if the flasher has it.
