I follow some of what you said but not all of it... i went ahead and put it back together for now so my gf can use it for dvds tomorrow (assuming it still works (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)) update this thread if you figure out a solution! OK...I'll do that. I hope to work on it again this weekend.
By the way, where are you from? Judging the time you post you must be from around here as well. I'm in Belgium.

Hey man i just wanted to let you know that i flashed the Benq drive using Iprep with updated definitions... jungleflasher wouldnt work whatsoever but iprep worked like a charm just as the first time i flashed it with 1.4

If you're able to you might want to go that route (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
