Umm.......... Uhh...... Oops.... Help?
« on: February 21, 2009, 03:02:00 AM »

When I attempted to flash my Samsung ms25, I think I accidentally did it to my PC drive..... Seeing as after that, it wouldn't open...... Is there a way to fix this? I need my PC drive to obtain the key from one of my 360 drives....

Hey ... where would the firmware for the drive be located?

The SH-S182D_SB06.bin is your Firmware and is located in the 20070622093010250_SH-S182D_SB06.zip I had you grab yesterday.

for ease of use do the exact same way ya did to f00k it in the first place..replace the sam-cfw.bin in the backup folder with the samsung firmware ya dowloaded but rename it sam-cfw.bin then skip the read part in iprep jump straight to the flash part and reflash it..

alternatively download the ix15 package and create a boot usb with iprep..on the root drop the files dosflash.exe and dosflash.typ from the dos folder of the package onto the root of the stick..also drop the firmware on root..boot into iprep and type dosflash at the prompt then enter..then N to resend info...then select the number that corrosponds with the SH-S182D..then select W to write then type the name of the bin ya wanna flash. eg SH-S182D_SB06.bin

with both of the above make sure the SH-S182D is the only thing attached to sata when flashing..knowing your luck you'll end up with an ixtreme hard drive as well if ya dont lol
