+1.... not news-worthy...

you can flash a sammy without opening it..... why the hell would you open it to install a chip..... to preseve the original f/w of the sammy that you can easily dump, to get E66 when you disable the chip....

and you still need h/w to get your lite-on key..... if the infectus did that at least.... but no it doesn't..

oh and they still sell 079 keys...... things must be tough....

Countless members are constantly directing people to Textbook's tutorial which recommends 079 keys so why would they stop selling them when they have such a staggering amount of advertising for it. Think about it ... how many times have you read "Go download Textbook's tutorial" and this is not the only forum with members still recommending that outdated tut, they all do it. Not to say it doesn't still have useful info especially for first timers but the flashing methods are obsolete.

well considering maximus sells his passkeys still.  They are already manufactured....might as well get rid of the inventory.  They never expected podger come along and release his softunlock. hehe

Have you proof of this? Has anyone actually dumped the NAND before and after games have been played to see if it's different? I plan to try it shortly myself - wondered if someone's already done so.

If you do this, I will be your buddy forever.  But, don't you need the exploitable kernel for it to be dumped? Or all 360's able to be dumped?

You can dump the NAND on ANY 360. The limitation is downgrading the Kernel. However all I need to do is dump it before and after playing games (originals and backups etc) then compare the two. Even if I can't decrypt any information within, if there's a change to the data it will show up.
