Hi Guys,

Sorry first for a bit newbish questions,

I started my adventures in flashing my ms28 with my P35 mobo and ICH09 chipset. I read before that this was possible only with specific VIA chipset. Anyway after seeing some posts here on different, I'll thought I give a try.

Everything went fine after setting drive debug mode using Jungle Flasher to "unlock sammy". After this I could read flash and started writing. Only thing that AV cable was not plugged in and xbox shutted down itself during flash.

Is there any other possibilities than hotswap now?

I already ordered new ms28 for 30€. When this new arrives, can I use this already built CFW for old drive to flash this new drive or is there anything else I need to know to use this new drive in xo.

Or can it be fixed with any force flashing etc. ?

- Drive is not recognized by bios anymore
- Does not open etc.

Do I need anything else than firmware?

Your drive is not bricked.. you need to use the VIA / NFORCE BAD FLASH METHOD (search) so you didnt really need to order a new drive, yes the alread built CFW will be fine for the new drive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
