When you open up your PC's case you should find at least 1 free molex power cable so just plug that into the ck3 and you should get power that way.

Here's a picture of what the Molex connecter should look like.

Thanks for your help.

I just got another quick question.

instead of unistalling the drivers for the via card can i just take the via card out of my pc instead?

The reason i'm asking is because i've done what it says to unistall via drivers and deleted the viamraid.sys out of my driver folder in my c: drive but when i reboot pc it installs the via drives again

if you're using windows xp, don't worry about it - just install the 5.30c drivers, they work with jungleflasher without issue.

please can someone confirm that i have everything set up right?

also do i need to plug a sata cable into the sata port on liton drive and other end into the via card or do i keep it how it is with the black sata lead from the 360 plugged into liton drive?

Yea you gotta pull out the mini black sata cable out of your lite on drive and use another sata cable to connect your via card with your drive.

Oh and just a tip... make sure you extract the keys at least 3x (key.bin, in.bin, id.bin) times and try and make sure that the key's the same every single time.. because once you erase there's no going back.

Thanks when you say extract key 3x do you mean hold the probe on the r707 and press get key (doing this 3 times)?

also where it says push the eject button and turn drive off and push tray in half way and turn drive back on, can i turn it off and on by using the on/off switch on the ck3 connectivity kit or do i have to unplug the molex cable and plug it back in?

When I did mine, I read, I read again, I searched and I was 100% successful. That tells you that all the info you need is out there, read the forums and you'll know what to do.

By that i mean click get key while holding your probe in R707 and then save all the stuff(key.bin, inquiry.bin, identify.bin)  in [folder1] then click get key again and save them in [folder 2] and then in folder 3.

there's a space in jungleflasher that should show you your key when you extract the files so make sure that the key is the same every time you extract the keys.

the newest version of jungleflasher automatically extracts the key six times and compares the results for you... an excellent program got even better!
