Nothing will appear in device manager when XtractorReader can read from your drive. Mine looks the same as yours and XtractorReader can read from my drive

1> First thing you must do is reinstall PortIO.
2> Then shutdown your PC and unplug it from the wall.
3> Connect the sata cable and connectivity kit power cable to the liteon dvd drive. Also connect your reader to the com port of your pc. (NO USB CABLE)
4> Plug pc in and turn on the pc. The xbox360 drive should power on aswell.
5> Now run XtractorReader.exe and click "Search All Sata Ports and Scan for 360 Drives", "Yes", "Yes".

Then you should end up with something like this:



Click "Yes" then you should see the following:

My VIA card couldn't detect the drive when I uninstalled the drivers like it said in the jungleflasher VIA guide. I suggest installing the RAID drivers so you can extract the key uses spear + jungleflasher, then use dosflash and l-o-erase to erase and write the firmware back to the drive.

Also, as cypher21 said, you must eject>turnoff>push in half way> turn on before extracting key with spear

I know it's been said but ensure that you install the USB driver for the spear as well. After that, using jungle flasher you should see 2 selectable com ports in the dvdkey32 tab. (mine said COM1 and COM4) COM4 was the right one for me.

xtractorreader never found my drive when I searched but it always said "device found" but never said  "xbox 360 drive found"

The liteon showed up on my device manager as disabled

CK3 tool did find the liteon when ports were  searched

of all attempts always got invalid key

but I got another problem

Mmmmm...I've never seen that error. Not sure why it's appearing if you not using USB to connect the Ck3.

Ok well atleast now your drive is being detected and you have the sataport. You can try dvdkey32 in the mean time while I try look for a fix.

So download dvdkey32 from here:

1> Eject the drive tray.
2> Disconnect power from the drive.
3> Push the tray half way in.
4> Reconnect power from the drive.
5> Then open a command prompt window and browse to the DVDKey32 folder.
6> Connect the probe then type the following: "DVDKey32.exe 8C00 1" and press enter.

it seems that I had a little problem with Windows .

I hav not  problems with both (USB & serial) cable to  PC conection  with Xtractor.

Key Read & Get Key And files in Xtractor works with USB cable connect. and when I click on it shows a message:

Yes you need the spear or bridge the TX.

i was just going to ask if u had the spear or had briged the connections. this must be done in order to read the key.also if u have problems with the pc freezing try leaving ur via drivers installed and only delete the viamraid file in windows.
